Day 2: Hike Mount Bisoke and Visit Dian Fossey’s Tomb

Your day begins early with breakfast at the lodge before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing. Today’s adventure is a hike up Mount Bisoke, a dormant volcano standing at 3,711 meters. The hike is challenging but rewarding, taking you through dense rainforest, bamboo zones, and alpine meadows. Along the way, keep an eye out for golden monkeys and various bird species.

After the boat ride, return to Classic Lodge for a light lunch and time to pack up. You will embark on your return back to Kigali.
